The Student Activities Unit at the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad, represented by Dr. Rawya Jabbar, the unit’s official, participated in the periodic meeting of the Student Activities Division at the University of Baghdad, which was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Adnan Mashoush, Director of the Student Activities Department at the University Presidency.
The meeting aimed to discuss many issues related to the development of student activities at the university, and the attendees stressed the importance of promoting sports, cultural, and artistic activities that contribute to building the personality of the university student and developing his skills.
In her intervention, Dr. Rawia praised the efforts of the Faculty of Mass Communication in providing all the requirements to support student activities, referring to “the distinguished infrastructure that the college possesses, which qualifies it to host various events,” and also submitted a proposal to host basketball matches on the courts of the College of Mass Communication, stressing the college’s readiness to provide full support for the success of these events.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Ali Adnan Mashoush praised the role of the Student Activities Division in promoting the spirit of cooperation and creativity among students, expressing his thanks to the Faculty of Languages for hosting the meeting and to all participants for their constructive proposals.
The meeting concluded by stressing the importance of cooperation between colleges to organize more activities that contribute to developing students’ skills and highlighting their talents.
