The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled “Drugs, their definition, risks and harms” delivered by the teacher Dr. Zainab Ali Salman and in the presence of a number of college members and students in the college.
The workshop aimed to identify drugs and their dangers to the individual and society, and the workshop also included axes that dealt with what drugs are and the risks and causes of the spread of drugs, as well as their various harms on the individual and society.
In conclusion, the workshop recommended that there are many risks to drugs, which include psychological and health risks that have a clear impact on the stability of the country, including the individual drug user who reflects the harm to those around him, different age groups, especially adolescents, must be sensitized through a number of workshops, seminars, and lectures, as well as awareness through various media to introduce the dangers and harms of drugs.
