The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Nursing, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled “Technology and Humanity: Who Leads Whom?” The session was jointly delivered by Dr. Asmahan Adnan and Dr. Salwa Ghazi in the presence of faculty members and staff.

The workshop aimed to shed light on the benefits and risks of technology, the dangers of smart device addiction, and the importance of setting regulations for technology use, particularly among children and young people. It also explored the impact of technology on mental and physical health and its role in advancing the healthcare sector.

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants recommended raising public awareness about the risks of excessive technology use and encouraging scientific research in the field of health technology.
