The Art and Cultural Activities Unit of Ibn Rushd College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Baghdad participated in the photography exhibition “Documenting the Genocide of the Yazidis and Other Communities.” The exhibition was inaugurated by Prof.Dr. Ali Sadiq, Director of Student Activities at the University of Baghdad, along with Dr. Abdul Hakim Jasser, Head of the Artistic and Cultural Activities Division.
Graduate students from the Department of English at the college took part in the exhibition under the supervision of Assist.Lecturer Marwa Kareem and Lecturer Waad Adnan. They presented ten photographs highlighting the horrific crimes committed against the Yazidis, aiming to document these atrocities for future generations.
This participation is part of the annual program of the university’s Art and Cultural Activities Division, reflecting its commitment to preserving historical memory through artistic expression.
