In a scientific achievement added to the balance of the University of Baghdad, Dr. Aws Mahmoud Abdullah, a lecturer at the College of Islamic Sciences, published distinguished scientific research in the International Journal of Mechatronics and Applied Mechanics, which is one of the most prestigious international journals specialized in the field of mechatronics and applied mechanics and is listed in Scopus databases.

The research dealt with an in-depth study of the use of sliding pattern techniques in the control of hydraulic motors, which are modern and promising technologies widely used in various industrial applications, and the researcher was able to analyze the pros and cons of these techniques, which opens new horizons in the field of automatic control and improves the efficiency of mechanical systems.

Sliding pattern techniques are considered one of the latest technologies in the field of power systems control, as they are characterized by their ability to achieve high performance and accuracy in control while reducing losses and operating costs, and it is expected that this research will contribute to the development of new applications for these technologies in various industrial fields.

This achievement testifies to the importance of cooperation between various scientific disciplines, as the researcher from the College of Islamic Sciences was able to contribute effectively to the field of mechanical engineering. This achievement confirms the pivotal role played by Iraqi universities in the production of knowledge and the development of science.
