Ibn Al-Haytham College of Education at the University of Baghdad held a workshop titled “The Academic System Adopted in the Bologna Process / Credit System.” The event featured a lecture by Dr. Mohammed Kamal Nassif, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, and was attended by Prof.Dr. Firas Abdul Hamid Abdul Latif, Dean of the College, along with department heads, rapporteurs, and faculty members from the Bologna Process committees.
The workshop covered key aspects of the Bologna Process, including the terminology to be adopted, the academic structure of the system, admission and registration mechanisms, assessment and examination procedures, and general principles and requirements.
Designed as an introductory session, the workshop aimed to familiarize faculty with the Bologna Process and outline the necessary steps for its implementation at the college. Additional training workshops will follow to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
