The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Law, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled “University Student Conduct in Accordance with the Student Discipline Regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.” The session was delivered by Prof.Dr. Rabab Khalil Ibraheem, a faculty member in the Public Law Department, and was attended by a number of students.
The workshop aimed to promote legal awareness regarding the behavioral standards that university students are required to uphold both on and off campus. The discussion covered key aspects of appropriate student behavior, outlining the ethical and disciplinary expectations for university students. It also addressed the potential penalties for violations and their long-term consequences on students’ academic and professional futures.
The workshop concluded with a recommendation to familiarize students with the Student Discipline Regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education (Regulation No. 60 of 2007). It was suggested that these regulations be publicly displayed on student bulletin boards to facilitate awareness, reinforcement, and adherence.
