The Career Development and Employment Unit at the College of Law, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled “Electronic Trading: Advantages and Disadvantages.” The session was delivered by Lecturer. Hiba Naama Mansour, a faculty member in the Public Law Department, and was attended by first-year students.

The workshop aimed to shed light on the concept of electronic trading, explaining its operational mechanism, including the process of opening a trading account, while outlining its key advantages and notable drawbacks.

The session concluded with recommendations emphasizing the importance of ensuring secure and regulated digital currency trading. It was suggested that future hybrid trading models combining traditional and electronic trading should be adopted. Additionally, the workshop stressed the need for comprehensive strategies to enhance the success of digital currency trading, including the establishment of international oversight mechanisms by specialized regulatory bodies and organizations following unified standards.
