As part of his academic tour of Japanese universities, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad, met with the College of Engineering at Chiba University to discuss potential joint projects in artificial intelligence (AI). The discussions followed a presentation showcasing undergraduate students’ experiments with robotics and other AI-related projects.
The meeting highlighted Chiba University’s cutting-edge AI technologies and explored ways to leverage them in various fields. Both sides discussed opportunities for academic and research collaboration, including organizing joint workshops and developing postgraduate programs focused on AI applications.
Prof. Dr. Ansaf emphasized the importance of international collaboration in enhancing research capabilities and strengthening the university’s global standing. He noted that such partnerships would equip Iraqi students and researchers with the latest technical knowledge.
Chiba University representatives welcomed the idea of expanding cooperation, stating that exchanging ideas and launching joint projects could help create innovative solutions to global challenges through AI technology.
