Dr. Abu Bakr Ziad Al-Rawi, President of the Iraqi Dentists’ Syndicate, praised the leading academic role of the University of Baghdad in advancing medical education. This came during his visit to the University of Baghdad, where he was received by Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof.Dr. Raghd Al-Hashimi, Dean of the College of Dentistry.
Dr. Al-Rawi emphasized the importance of the efforts made by the University of Baghdad in preparing qualified medical staff to serve the healthcare sector in Iraq. He highlighted that the University of Baghdad is a leading scientific beacon contributing to the enhancement of higher education and supporting professional unions, including the Dentists’ Syndicate.
During the meeting, the role of the Ministry of Higher Education and the parent university in training students at various stages of their studies to ensure the development of their practical and scientific skills was discussed. Dr. Al-Rawi expressed his appreciation for the distinguished level the university has reached in supporting and developing medical education.
For his part, the President of the University of Baghdad praised the efforts of the Dentists’ Syndicate in developing dental schools in Iraq by providing modern educational programs aimed at improving the outcomes of medical education and supplying society with distinguished professionals capable of delivering the best healthcare services.
