The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, honored a group of distinguished faculty members from the College of Education for Women during a ceremony held in Ibn Al-Haytham Hall at the College of Medicine.
The recognition was awarded with the Shield of Excellence for their outstanding contributions to high-quality scientific publishing in their respective fields. The honorees included two faculty members from the English Department: Assist.Prof.Eman Adel Jaafar and Lecturer Alaa Yaseen Hassan, who received the Shield of Excellence Award for distinguished scholarly publishing.
The College of Education for Women stands out as the leading and sole humanities college at the University of Baghdad to achieve this recognition for its rigorous scientific publishing. This accomplishment reflects the university’s commitment to promoting academic publication within Scopus-indexed databases.
