The halls of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences – University of Baghdad witnessed the Iraqi universities volleyball championship for students in cooperation with the Department of Student Activities in the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
At the same time, the playgrounds of the College of Basic Education at Al-Mustansiriya University host the same tournament for female students.
The results of the first day of the championship for students resulted in the victory of the University of Baghdad over Al-Rafidain College (2_0), Al-Mustansiriya victory over Al-Farabi College (2_0), Dijlah College over Al-Hikma College (2_1), the University of Technology victory over Al-Mashreq College (2_0), the College of Peace victory over Al-Mamoun College (2_0), and the Central Technical University victory over Ashur College (2_0).
