Maryam Salah, a student from the Public Relations Department at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, has achieved a remarkable sports milestone by winning first place in the Iraqi Universities Badminton Championship, which saw the participation of 44 universities.

Commenting on this significant victory, the Dean of the College, Prof.Dr. Ammar Taher, stated: “This new athletic achievement by Maryam Salah reflects the excellence and determination of our students and reaffirms the College of Media’s ability to achieve outstanding results across various fields and events, whether academic, athletic, or artistic.”

Dr. Rawiya Jabbar Hassan, Head of the Student Activities Unit at the College of Media, expressed her pride in this accomplishment, saying: “Maryam Salah is a shining example of active energy and ambition, contributing to raising the name of the College and the University in sports arenas. We are proud of her continued success.”

This marks Maryam Salah’s fourth consecutive victory in the Iraqi Universities Badminton Championship, highlighting her exceptional talent, which deserves recognition, support, and encouragement.
