Attiaf Al-Shammari, a faculty member of the Public Relations Division at the Department of Media and Government Communication, met Wednesday, 21st February 2024, with Mr. Star Al-Ardawi, the Director of the Iraqi News Agency.
The meeting delved into the fundamentals of mutual cooperation between the university and the agency, aimed at showcasing the university’s achievements and highlighting its scholarly potentials, be it through its faculty members or students. This encompasses extending media support and coverage for workshops, seminars, and conferences associated with the university, both locally and internationally, as well as collaborating on media productions with official agencies and channels.
Al-Ardawi affirmed his full backing for the university to serve as a role model, underscoring the pivotal role the university plays in local and global achievements, as well as its possession of a rich historical legacy and academic and scientific landmarks.
This visit aligns with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, University of Baghdad, and the Department of Media and Government Communication to foster ties with all state institutions in furtherance of the educational process and the betterment of our nation, Iraq
