The Continuing Education Unit at the Center for Market Research and Consumer Protection has conducted an electronic training course through the FCC platform on applying ISO 26000 related to community responsibility. The course included several lectures, the first of which was delivered by the Assist. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abdullah Jassim entitled (Implementation of the specification of community responsibility ISO 26000 in consumer issues: a case study at the Center for Market Research and Consumer Protection) aimed at demonstrating the degree of implementation of the specification of social responsibility ISO 26000 and specifically item 6 of the specification for consumer issues at the center, where an analysis of the seven consumer issues contained in the specification was carried out to determine the degree of implementation of the research center by adopting the examination list as a major tool in the collection of Study data and information and the results obtained were analyzed.
The second lecture was presented by the lecturer Dr. Wisal Abdullah Hussein entitled (Readings in consumer issues among the provisions of the standard specification ISO26000 and its applications) that included a full explanation of the optional guidance specification for social responsibility, addressing the provisions of the international specification and its importance to institutions and companies, while the third lecture was given by Dr. Afnan Mohammed Shaaban entitled (The role of media in the sustainable development of the environment within the framework of community responsibility ISO 26000) who studied the concept of sustainable development and community responsibility, importance and the role of in community development and individual participation in community life and ways to protect the environment as well as activate the role of media in achieving sustainability.
