The College of Pharmacy at the University of Baghdad has celebrated launching accreditation standards for the faculties of pharmacy in Iraq based on the approval of these standards by the National Council for the Accreditation of Faculties of Pharmacy which is an important step to ensure the quality of pharmaceutical education. The Head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, Dr. Salah al-Futlawi, explained during his speech the future vision of the ministry of higher education in this regard. Dr. Sarmad Hashim al-Khatib, Chairman of the Committee of Deans of the Faculties of Pharmacy, stated the need to support the Accreditation Council and the importance of obtaining national and international program accreditation and the role of the faculties of pharmacy and the ministry of higher education and scientific research in this quest. Then the Captain of Pharmacists Dr. Mustafa al-Hitti also gave a speech in which he asserted the role of the union and joint work between all parties to upgrade the accreditation criteria adopted for this end.
