God Almighty has spoken the truth
The presidency of the University of Baghdad has received recently with great regret and sadness the news of the death of Prof. Dr. Qassim Mohammed Hassan al-Khaqani, dean of the college of physical education and sports sciences who died as a result of an incurable disease.
For this painful and tragic news, the presidency of the university, represented by its rector Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, mourns this prestigious academic and sports figure whose departure represents a major loss in the march of higher education and sports in Iraq for he was an example of an able professor whose knowledge and morals overflow among his colleagues and students through all his academic and sports career. The rector of the University of Baghdad extends once again his deepest condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the deceased, hoping that may God inspire them with patience. We ask Allah almighty to give mercy, inhabit him in paradise and to reassure his soul.
