His Excellency the Deputy Minister of higher education and scientific research Prof. Dr. Yassin Mohammed al-Ithawi, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad have visited recently the college of science to attend one of the master discussions taking place at the department of physics. Al-Eithawi followed-up the discussion of the student Ali Khaled Shihab, where the committee was chaired by the rector of Al Ayen University in Dhi Qar Prof. Dr. Shafiq Shaker Shafiq, and included members specialized in medical and nuclear physics.
The Deputy Minister praised the high level of scientific sobriety in asking questions and the valuable scientific interventions made with the attendees to promote future research. For his part, the dean of the college Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abdul Razzaq, thanked His Excellency the Deputy Minister of higher education for attending this discussion and providing support and moral motivation to the scholars and faculty members in order to enhance graduate research, which is the real pillar of higher education in the country.
