Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has received recently His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdul Sahib who intended to conduct an inspection tour to follow-up the final examinations of the undergraduate studies at the college of media. His Excellency the minister, accompanied by the rector, met some students and faculty members there to keep abreast of the nature of questions and other logistical procedures followed in this regard, where he praised the application of precautionary measures to prevent and reduce the spread of Coronavirus, in line with the integrated education adopted in the country this year.
For his part, the dean of the college of media, Prof. Dr. Ammar Taher stated during his speech that the deanship has completed all the administrative and technical requirements necessary for students to pass their exams successfully, as well as commitment to the terms of social distancing, wearing medical masks, sterilization of classrooms, also praising the proper contexts adopted by the ministry of higher education for managing the educational process under the Covid-19 epidemic that has directly contributed to overcoming challenges and obstacles in this critical situation. It is noteworthy that the University of Baghdad has coordinated its efforts with the deans of colleges and exam committees and subcommittees to provide a comfortable environment to our dear students to pass their exams in a smooth way and urging them to receive vaccines as quickly as possible.
