The University of Baghdad has outperformed all Iraqi universities in publishing research in Scopus Elsevier’s abstract and citation database by publishing (15256) sober scientific researches. The ministry of higher education and scientific research confirmed in a statement lately that the Iraqi research index recorded the inclusion of (74000) researches in general, with the University of Baghdad as the top publisher of academic research in international repositories. It is noteworthy that Scopus database covers nearly (22000) titles from approximately more than (5000) publishers, of which (20000) are peer-reviewed journals in top-level subject fields: life sciences, social sciences (including arts and humanities), physical and health sciences.
