Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad, visited the University Leadership Development Course organized by the Continuing Education Center at the university. This initiative aims to support and enhance the academic and administrative staff by strengthening their leadership capabilities in alignment with modern higher education requirements.

During the visit, Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem praised the efforts made in organizing the course, commending the quality of the training programs offered. He described them as “meeting the needs of university leaders amid digital transformation and contemporary management challenges.” He also highlighted the importance of the diverse academic content, which contributes to developing both administrative and technical skills among participants.

In his address to the attendees, the university president emphasized the importance of strengthening cybersecurity awareness within academic institutions. He stated: “Protecting academic and administrative data and information requires collective efforts to enhance awareness and ensure continuous cybersecurity training, safeguarding the university environment against digital threats.”

Dr. Ansaf further stressed that information security has become a key pillar of success in higher education, particularly as universities increasingly rely on digital technologies across various academic and administrative functions.

This visit aligns with two Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth and Goal 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
