The Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Health Insurance Authority, organized an awareness workshop entitled “Explanation of the Mechanisms for Implementing Health Insurance Law No. 22 of 2020.” The event was held in the hall of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and attended by the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof.Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashimi, and the Director of the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof.Dr. Najlaa Sada Hassoun.
The workshop aimed to highlight the services provided by the health insurance system and clarify how beneficiaries can make use of them. It also reviewed the key rights and benefits guaranteed by the law to employees and their families, and discussed the most recent updates to the approved health regulations and programs.
The session was marked by active engagement from attendees, who raised questions and shared insights, contributing to a lively and informative discussion that reflected the employees’ strong interest in understanding the system and benefiting from its services.
This event supports two Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 3 – Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages, and Goal 17 – Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development.
