The University of Baghdad Council held its fifteenth session, chaired by the President of the University, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, to discuss several important matters aimed at advancing the educational process and strengthening academic values.
During the meeting, the council emphasized the necessity of incorporating scientific research as a core subject across various university departments. It stressed the importance of selecting qualified faculty members to teach this subject due to its vital role in preparing graduate students to become outstanding researchers in the future.
The council also reviewed a letter from the University Follow-up Department regarding graduation photos for students. The President of the University instructed the follow-up of this matter while adhering to academic values and traditions to ensure the preservation of the institution’s academic identity.
The meeting concluded with the council discussing the other agenda items and making appropriate decisions to benefit students and support the university’s educational journey.
These directives align with Sustainable Development Goal 4, which advocates for quality education.
