The Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Performance at the University of Baghdad Presidency organized a training workshop titled “Mechanism for Implementing the Performance Evaluation Form for the Academic Year 2023-2024.” The event was attended by department heads from colleges and institutes, as well as officials from divisions, quality assurance units, and liaison members from various university departments.
The workshop aimed to provide a comprehensive explanation of the standards and criteria adopted in the performance evaluation form, clarify the methodology for completing it, and analyze its results to enhance educational quality and institutional development. The session also included interactive discussions on best practices in performance evaluation and the challenges teams may encounter during implementation.
During the workshop, Prof.Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan, Director of the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Performance at the University of Baghdad, emphasized the importance of objective and accurate evaluation in fostering an effective academic environment. Meanwhile, Prof.Dr. Siham Kazem Nimer, Head of the University Performance Evaluation Division, highlighted the pivotal role of quality assurance in achieving institutional excellence and enhancing the efficiency of educational institutions.
The activity concluded with an open discussion session, where participants’ inquiries were addressed. The session emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts among departments to ensure the proper implementation of quality standards within the established frameworks.
