Baghdad University volunteers team has held the annual festival entitled (some of them are waiting), in cooperation with the department of student activities of the presidency of the University of Baghdad on the occasion of the birth of the Muhammadan moons(peace be upon them ) , in the presence of the assistant rector for scientific affairs , Prof. Dr. Marwan Abdul Hameed Ashour, and the director of department student activities, Dr. Qais Qahtan and Sheikh Al-Hussaini Jaafar Al-Murooj . The event started with reading some verses of Quran by the reader Hussein Alaskari, and then the assistant rector for scientific affairs gave a welcome speech on behalf of the rector of the University of Baghdad , and Sheikh Mr. Jaafar Al-Murooj gave a lecture on this occasion , followed by a speech of Baghdad University volunteers given by the student Ali Fattah , after that the audience listened to a poem of the poet Ihab Al-Maliki ,and the radood Muhammad Baqir Qahtan. At the conclusion of the festival the participants were honored with awards by the assistant rector for scientific affairs.
