The College of Education for Humanities (Ibn Rushd) at the University of Baghdad held a workshop titled “Ways to Promote a Culture of Participation in Decision-Making Processes.” The session was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Kazem Waheed Naama.
The workshop aimed to foster a culture of participation within institutions and nurture intellectual engagement. The session covered several key topics, including the ability to enhance participatory decision-making processes, which can lead to better outcomes, and the use of organizational culture as an effective approach to crisis management.
The workshop concluded with recommendations emphasizing problem-solving in workplace and project environments by employing scientific techniques capable of dismantling and reconfiguring preconceived notions. Additionally, it encouraged moving away from debates and adopting participatory, science-based approaches.
