The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, visited the College of Administration and Economics to monitor the progress of academic work and assess the needs of the college. He was received by the Dean of the College, Prof.Dr. Sabah Munafi Rida.
During his visit, the president of the university reviewed the ongoing renovation efforts across the college, including the sports hall, corridors decorated with trees, student seating areas, as well as the gardens of the college.
Prof.Dr. Ansaf also inaugurated the newly established Operations Research Department, which had recently received approval, as well as the renovated College Deanship building, the College Council meeting room, and the Postgraduate Studies building. He praised the continuous efforts of the college’s administration to achieve these accomplishments despite limited resources, highlighting the importance of these projects in supporting the academic progress of the institution.
At the conclusion of his visit, the president of the university expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the college administration for their ongoing efforts in the renovation campaigns and development of the college, which reflect the vision of the university to improve the quality of education and provide an appropriate learning environment for students.
Following the visit, a meeting of the Baghdad University Council was held at the College of Administration and Economics, attended by the university president ‘s assistants and the deans of all colleges.
