The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, received in his office in the presidency of the university, a delegation from the Holy Husseiniya Shrine, headed by Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Daami, Head of the Technical Education Authority at the Holy Husseiniya Shrine, and in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Musa Abdul Hadi, Assistant Chairman of the Technical Education Authority, Prof. Dr. Hakim Samawi Al-Jubouri, Chairman of the Constituent Assembly of Al-Thaqalayn Technical University, and Professor Walaa Al-Saffar, Assistant Head of the Media Department at the Holy Husseiniya Shrine, to discuss providing the necessary academic and advisory support for the development of Private education institutions, and opening the door for cooperation in the field of developing artificial intelligence departments, colleges and technical institutes, in the presence of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah.

The President of the University of Baghdad discussed with the delegation of the Holy Husseiniya Shrine ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides in the fields of education and training to keep pace with the labor market with the required scientific outputs.

The meeting also discussed preparing a plan to open a number of technical education colleges and the College of Artificial Intelligence and attracting international professors in this field to provide the necessary support, as well as forming joint committees to follow up the implementation of those programs between the two sides.

For its part, the delegation of the Husseiniya Shrine welcomed this great cooperation, and praised the efforts of the University of Baghdad in supporting educational institutions and developing teaching staff, stressing that this cooperation represents an important step towards upgrading the level of private education in Iraq and opening new horizons for the exchange of academic experiences, and the importance of these relations and partnerships with universities to serve the community.
