Al-Kindy College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad organized a ceremony to honor the top three students from all academic levels. This event was held in response to a directive from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to celebrate the top students for the academic year 2023-2024. The ceremony was attended by the President of the University, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, the Director General of Health for Baghdad Al-Rusafa, Dr. Basim Sabah, and the Dean of the College, Prof.Dr. Mohammed Shihab Al-Eidani.
In a speech, Prof.Dr. Bahaa congratulated the students on their excellence, efforts, and distinction. He encouraged them to continue striving for success and creativity, urging them to keep contributing to raise the college and university rankings by producing solid scientific research and dedicating themselves to their studies. The Dean of the College praised the students’ efforts and passion for medicine, emphasizing that the profession requires a sense of humanity, commitment, and high responsibility.
In turn, the Director General of Health for Baghdad offered guidance to the graduates, urging them to take responsibility for building the future and effectively engaging with patients. He also highlighted the important role of professors and families in supporting and motivating students to excel.
At the end of the ceremony, awards and commemorative shields were distributed to the top three students in recognition of their efforts and achievements, encouraging them to continue serving their beloved country.
