The College of Engineering, Department of Architecture Engineering at the University of Baghdad, organized a charity bazaar under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, to show solidarity and support for the Palestinian people in Gaza.
This event reflected the humanitarian and social efforts made by students and professors of the fourth stage in architectural design, who had a key role in implementing the initiative with the active participation of students of the second and third stages and the support of the head of the department and college members.
The charity market was held in outer space of the Department of Architecture. It included several corners, including (food, sweets, and drinks, a corner of roses and candles, a corner of the Jerusalem model, souvenirs, a corner of Arabic calligraphy, painting on ceramics and bags, as well as posters and virtual reality glasses that displayed a simulation of the city of Jerusalem and the Dome of the Rock Mosque.
This initiative embodied the spirit of cooperation and collaboration between students and professors and contributed to directing the energies of university youth toward supporting global humanitarian causes.
