A member of the national team and student in the Development of Public Relations at the College of the Mass communication, University of Baghdad, Moammel Laith, scored a remarkable sporting accomplishment for Iraq by winning two gold medals and one silver medal in World Clickboxing Championship held in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent.

The Dean of College, Prof.Dr.Ammar Taher, emphasized that these significant achievements  are deserving of  congratulations and appreciation. He noted that they reflect the college and university commitment to fostering athletic talent and encouraging university youth to achieve success and excellence in various areas, contributing to raising Iraq banner high in international forums.

Moreover, the focus on sports activities by the students of the College of Mass Communication aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 3, which pertains to good health and well-being for all. This is because engaging in sports improves physical health, enhances students’ physical activity, promotes overall public health, and ultimately improves individuals’ mental well-being.
