The College of Medicine organized a mourning stand for the soul of the martyr of the resistance, Mr. (Hassan Nasrallah), and the martyrs of Lebanon who were martyred by the Zionist entity. The professors and students of the College stood in moments of silence. They read Al-Fatiha on the souls of the martyrs, expressing feelings of sadness and sorrow for the loss of a leader who struggled for freedom and dignity, whose soul was a symbol of steadfastness and pride. His martyrdom represents a great loss for the nation. Still, his legacy of struggle will remain alive in the hearts of free people.

It is noteworthy that the college organized earlier a stand in solidarity with the Lebanese people, in a step aimed at strengthening the spirit of unity and humanitarian support among peoples and emphasizing the importance of peace in the region. College members carried banners calling for supporting Lebanon’s plight and wishing safety and peace for the brotherly Lebanese people.

In conclusion, the College of Medicine affirms its humanitarian and academic support, as part of the mission of higher education in supporting the causes of peace and social justice, wishing the Lebanese people to overcome this difficult stage safely and securely.
