The Committee for Simplifying Administrative Procedures, chaired by Prof.Dr. Enas Khalifa, Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department, organized a workshop in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning, the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Performance, and Computer Center. This event was conducted under the guidance of the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah. The workshop focused on the process of filling out work procedure forms and highlighted the importance of developing a procedures manual. It was facilitated by committee members and attended by associate members from various departments within the university presidency.
The objective of the workshop was to create a manual for simplifying administrative procedures across all university departments, based on the organizational structure of the units and a detailed manual of tasks and responsibilities. This initiative relied on forms prepared by the ministry, aimed at standardizing procedures, minimizing errors, enhancing communication among employees, facilitating training and development, and improving the efficiency of administrative operations.
The workshop concluded with several recommendations, including the establishment of a subcommittee in each department of the university presidency to finalize the manual for simplifying work procedures, and the implementation of an electronic system to achieve automation, one of the requirements for electronic governance concurrent with the completion of paper forms.
