The Employment and Rehabilitation Unit at the College of Mass Communication, University of Baghdad, organized a scientific workshop titled “Electronic Learning Platforms.” The workshop was presented by Senior Programmer Israa Hamid, with the attendance of students and staff from the college.
The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with prominent electronic learning platforms such as Coursera, Udemy, edX, and LinkedIn Learning, in addition to providing an overview of the Google Classroom platform, including how to access and register for it.
It addressed the importance of these platforms, highlighting their role in preparing students for final exams and offering them the opportunity to deepen their understanding of educational material at their own pace. The goal is to teach students self-directed learning methodologies and to facilitate learning for special groups and those unable to attend due to compelling circumstances.
This event is considered an important step in raising awareness among participants and enhancing their skills in effectively using these electronic platforms, while promoting proper usage methods to avoid common issues that users may encounter.
