The National Center for Population and Demographic Studies at the University of Baghdad held a workshop titled “The Issue of Publishing in International Indexes for Humanities Departments,” presented by Assist.Lecturer Fadhil Malik Fadhil, with the attendance of several faculty members from the center.
The event aimed to address the main obstacles to publishing research in international indexes for humanities departments. It covered key factors that contribute to the acceptance of research by journals indexed globally, the process by which research is evaluated by editorial boards, and a clarification of the general ranking of international journals, along with an overview of journal impact factors and publishing houses.
The workshop emphasized the importance of paying attention to the details of the research, ensuring the content is comprehensive and presented in the best possible manner, free from grammatical and typographical errors. It also stressed the need to focus on writing a well-crafted title and abstract for the research.
