Dr. Abdul Rahman Abdul Ghafoor Salman, a lecturer in the Department of Islamic Creed and Thought at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, issued joint research on “Ethics of the teaching profession in the light of the Sunnah of the Prophet.” The research was published in the refereed and indexed Journal of Imam al-Azam University College.

This study is one of the important studies that highlight the essential role of the teacher in the good upbringing of students. The research dealt with the definition of the vocabulary of the title, and the statement of the types of science, while highlighting the virtue of science and its people. The research also touched on the ethics of the teaching profession and the ethics of the learner.
The research reached a number of results and recommendations, including: the need to enhance the teacher’s scientific and social status, educating the teacher about the importance of his profession and its role in building his country, that the teacher has the values of his profession in behavior in his life, mentioning the advantages of the learner and raising his morale, to urge him to exert more effort in obtaining education, meeting the psychological and social needs of learners, such as kindness, appreciation, and a sense of security and tranquility.
