The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad launched its pioneering project in the field of digital archiving of the history of the college and the Journal of the College of Medicine to document a march that spanned (88) years from the date of establishment and publication in 1936 AD. The magazine publishes the news of the medical staff in Arabic and the research of the college’s teachers in the medical fields since 1941 AD, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Amin Abdul Hassan Mana Al-Alwani.
The archiving process of the medical journal was initiated, and the participation of the journal unit, the library and information technology divisions, and a number of young doctors from the college graduates and from the promising generation, and the Journal of the College of Medicine continued to provide the medical field with specialized medical research and studies, since 1959 to the present day.
