The College of Pharmacy ranked third in the results of the annual evaluation of the colleges of the University of Baghdad for scouting activities and volunteer work. This evaluation came after providing a lot of diverse volunteer work inside and outside the college, which was supervised by the Committee supporting volunteer work.
Students, teachers and College members participated in these works and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Sarmad Hashem Kazim, these works were different in their activities and varied and included afforestation and planting gardens, visiting the orphanage and people with disabilities, reviewing the conditions of the elderly and providing the simplest needs necessary for a decent living.
It also included the provision of food baskets to students in the student housing complexes during the blessed month of Ramadan as well, and the total amounts disbursed for donations is more than five million Iraqi dinars. The supporting committee aspires in the future to develop volunteer work ideas to contribute to the service of our dear country.
