His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, honored Dr. Alaa Abdul-Khaliq Hussein Al-Mandlawi, a lecturer in the Department of Arabic at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Baghdad.
This recognition came during his participation as a rapporteur at the scientific conference titled “Towards a National Strategy for the Development of Iraqi Women According to Islamic Principles and National and Social Constants.” Dr. Al-Mandlawi contributed significantly by supervising and supporting the conference in various aspects.
The conference sessions addressed various issues concerning Iraqi women, presenting 150 scientific papers that discussed the challenges faced by Iraqi women and proposed solutions to overcome these challenges and enhance the role of women in community building. The conference resulted in several important recommendations that will contribute to strengthening efforts to empower Iraqi women. A committee has been established to oversee the implementation of these recommendations in practice.
