The College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad welcomed the Department of Studies and Planning, which organized a workshop titled “Strategic Planning.” The workshop was presented by Prof.Dr. Salahuddin Awad Al-Kubaisi and attended by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, the Director of the Department of Studies and Planning, Prof.Dr. Manal Shaker Ali, and the Head of the Studies and Planning Division at the College of Science for Women, Assist.Prof.Dr. Amal Sfeih, along with several heads of planning units and divisions from various university departments.
The workshop aimed to introduce the concept of strategy, its steps, tools, and types-long-term, medium-term, and short-term. Additionally, it covered the University of Baghdad’s five-year plan for the years 2025-2030, which is a crucial step for developing the university, enhancing the scientific and academic level, optimizing the use of available material and human resources, organizing them, and reducing the chaos and randomness resulting from neglecting the planning process.
