Under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Eng. Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani, the University of Baghdad hosted a celebration (National Job Day), where a group of creative and loyal workers from various Iraqi ministries and governorates were honored.
The Quality Assurance and University Performance Team, representing the University of Baghdad, won the (Best Career Team) award in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with the rank of (Dedicated) along with another team from Al-Mustansiriya University.
This honor came as a result of the efforts of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance in the Presidency of the University of Baghdad in placing the mother university as the first Iraqi university within the British sustainability classification, through a success story entitled (Quality Assurance Team puts the University of Baghdad as the first Iraqi university within the British sustainability classification with a scientific, environmental and social impact), as the team’s efforts were crowned with winning this award, which works with all its efforts to develop the quality assurance system at the university, and enhance its commitment to the highest performance standards, in line with Sustainable Development Goals.
1500 success stories from 75 institutions competed for the award, and 80 success stories were selected out of 1500, which highlights the excellence of the achievement of the University of Baghdad team and confirms its tireless efforts in order to raise the status of the mother university at the international level.
This achievement is a source of pride for the University of Baghdad and Iraq as a whole, as it embodies the spirit of cooperation and teamwork, and the success story of the quality assurance team at the mother university is a model to be followed in sincere and creative work, and evidence of the ability of the mother university to achieve impressive achievements despite the challenges.
