The Department of Physics, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science, University of Baghdad, held a workshop titled “Management and Organization of Accounts in the Digital Repository of the University of Baghdad.” The event was attended by several postgraduate students, faculty members, and members of scientific promotion committees.
The workshop aimed to shed light on embedding, archiving, descriptive data, and files, and how to archive them. It also clarified the roles of teaching staff and technical administrators in the digital repository, emphasized the importance of increasing the number of registrants on the site, indexing research papers, and enhancing scientific and research information for researchers.
The activity also included explanations on how to register in the digital repository of the University of Baghdad, enabling users to manage their accounts and organize academic and scientific information. This facilitates researchers in showcasing their academic backgrounds and research experiences in a way that makes it easy for others to explore and understand their research interests. Additionally, it demonstrated the possibilities of using the repository for research and querying researchers or scientific journals.
