The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad has announced its adoption of an electronic point of sale system (EPOS) for all its financial transactions, as part of its continuous efforts to enhance and streamline services for its students.
This decision marks a pioneering step aimed at improving the efficiency of financial operations within the college, reducing reliance on cash transactions, and enhancing transparency and accountability. The EPOS system is characterized by its user-friendly interface, allowing students to easily pay tuition fees and other services using their bank cards or electronic wallets.
This system is highly secure as it encrypts student financial data to ensure protection. It enables quick and efficient completion of financial transactions, saving students time, reducing congestion, and helping to minimize errors and ensure data accuracy. Additionally, the system allows students to easily monitor their financial transactions through detailed records sent to them via email or SMS. Students can utilize the EPOS system by visiting the Financial Affairs Department at the college and obtaining a smart card for use in all financial transactions. They can also make payments using mobile banking apps or electronic wallets.
