Dr. Hussam Jasim Banana, the Head of the Department of Animal Production at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, received a delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture. The delegation was led by Dr. Sami Hameed Farhan, Director of the Animal Wealth Research Department.
The delegation included several members of the department, and during the visit, they discussed various issues related to scientific research, exchanged expertise and information, and explored opportunities for collaboration on further research projects for postgraduate students and faculty members.
The visit included attendance at a scientific workshop organized by the department titled “Statistical Analysis of Genetic Data,” presented by Professor Riad Hamad Sankal, where he highlighted key statistical analysis methods for genetic data. This visit aims to strengthen cooperation ties and enhance scientific research in the field of animal wealth, contributing to the development of this important sector in Iraq.
