The College of Languages at the University of Baghdad held its 24th International Scientific Conference titled “Language, Literature, Translation, and Digital Culture: Reality and Ambition.” The event was attended by the university president, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, and supervised by the dean of the college, Assist.Prof.Dr. Ali Adnan Mushosh. Researchers from fifteen Arab and international countries participated in the conference.The conference covered numerous topics, with a focus on artificial intelligence and digital culture. Seventy-five scientific papers were presented at the event.
In a speech, Prof.Dr. Bahaa, emphasized the necessity of employing innovative methods in the educational process. He also highlighted the importance of developing the research, scientific, and academic capabilities of researchers and educators in line with the latest global advancements to ensure that students and researchers are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
It is worth noting, that the university aims to enhance quality, increase opportunities for innovation, improve work efficiency, and boost academic and knowledge production. It aspires to be a scientific role model that emulates global universities in terms of study and evaluation.
