The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Political Science, University of Baghdad, organized a training course titled “Promoting Integrity Culture and its Role in Combating Administrative and Financial Corruption.”
The course aimed to define the concept of administrative and financial corruption and differentiate it from administrative negligence. It also included an explanation of the various forms of corruption, methods to combat them, mechanisms for promoting integrity culture in Iraq and the relevant authorities involved. Additionally, the course emphasized the importance of combating corruption, nurturing academic integrity, and adhering to ethical practices and professional standards.
The course covered the promotion of integrity culture and its role in combating financial and administrative corruption, as well as the role of the Integrity Commission in enhancing ethical behavior in public service, preventing corruption, legally prosecuting violators, and clarifying the roles of employees and educators in fighting corruption.
