The Council of the University of Baghdad held its twenty-first session for the academic year 2023-2024, headed by Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, to discuss a number of important topics.
The President of the University stressed the need to pay attention to the procedures of civil defense and occupational safety, specifically during the summer, coinciding with the high temperatures and the fire season, and the assignment of all deanships of formations in coordination with the competent divisions to conduct a continuous periodic examination and with the support of the Department of Ages and Projects of the Presidency of the University, urging at the same time the university’s employees to be accurate and cautious while conducting interviews and interviews with channels and social media and to adhere to accuracy in statements without prejudice to the educational institution, whether college or university.
He also directed the fairness of the deans of the university to rely on those with experience, integrity, and competence when nominating for the position of assistant dean or head of department.
The Council discussed a number of decisions related to issues related to the Department of Cultural Relations, including adapting the cases of a number of students studying abroad, as well as issues related to the participation of teams of teachers and students in competitions and scientific activities outside Iraq.
