Dr. Arkan Rahim Jabr, Assistant Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, published joint research with doctoral student Abeer Hussein Al-Badri in the International Journal of Central Banking, a sober international magazine that falls within the Scopus container.
The research, entitled “The Science of Interpretation: Its Importance and Scientific Status in the Eyes of Al-Tabsi – A Study and Investigation of the Butter of the Statement in Explaining the Verses of the Qur’anic Stories”, dealt with the importance of the science of interpretation and its prestigious position among the human sciences. This research gains its importance from the fact that it sheds light on one of the most important Islamic sciences, the science of interpretation, and studies it from the perspective of one of the leading scholars of interpretation, Imam al-Tabari.
This research is expected to have a significant positive impact on the fields of scientific research and Islamic studies as it makes a valuable contribution to the understanding of the science of exegesis, its importance, and scientific status, and contributes to enriching Islamic knowledge and expanding its horizons.
The research also provides an in-depth study and investigation of the book “Butter of the Statement in explaining the Verses of the Stories of the Qur’an”, one of the most important books of interpretation written by al-Tabari.
The publication of this research in a sober international journal is an important scientific achievement added to the balance of Dr. Arkan Rahim Jabr and doctoral student Abeer Hussein Al-Badri, and this achievement indicates the distinguished scientific level enjoyed by the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Baghdad, and its constant keenness to spread and develop Islamic knowledge.
