The College of Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering at the University of Baghdad, held a workshop entitled Introduction to Microsoft Teams delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Ali Hussein
The workshop discussed and explained Microsoft Teams, a collaboration platform developed by Microsoft, designed to facilitate communication and teamwork within organizations that combines workplace chat, video meetings, file storage, and application integration. The workshop aims to point out the importance of this program and how to use and benefit from it at present in state departments and educational institutions.
The workshop came out with a number of recommendations, most notably the importance of providing new methods and methods of teaching and distance learning, such as video conferences and seminars by computer using distance learning platforms and business management with sobriety and reliability such as the Microsoft Teams platform, activating the platform in an official way and the need to create a special email for all members of the institution to be managed, and the importance of constant communication with employees and continuous follow-up of work by managers using these programs and the need to provide an educational environment full of diverse knowledge and experiences to improve Cooperation between teaching staff and students, which leads to more effective educational cooperation, and providing feedback between teacher and students through modern programs, which enhances the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process and the importance of delivering study materials and information quickly and accurately without regard to place and time.
