The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad held its 24th Annual International Conference under the theme “Comprehensive and Excellent Education: The Foundation of Creativity and Innovation.” The conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, with the support of the President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof.Dr. Raghad Al-Hashimi. Also in attendance were the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, and the President of the Iraqi Dental Association, along with a constellation of specialized researchers.
The event aimed to showcase the latest scientific developments and applied research for the purpose of scientifically utilizing them to enhance the quality of education and achieve sustainable development. Additionally, it aimed to enhance the scientific, research, and academic capacities of researchers and educators in accordance with the latest developments. The conference included several sessions that explored the latest developments in various dental specialties, including prosthetics, dental implants, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
In a speech delivered by the Dean of the College, he praised the speakers for their participation in the conference. He noted that this event represents a step towards enhancing communication and interaction among researchers and specialists in the field of dentistry, emphasizing the importance of exchanging experiences as it contributes to building a comprehensive scientific community.
